I pretty much just see the black behind of the monitor when it is flipped down. Lots of little neighbor kids, and just for kicks, i installed a rear cam. i debated about the ones drilled into the tailgate and the license plate frame...went with the frame. that way i can switch between rear...

i've thought about the headrest monitors too, but settled on a ceiling flip-down instead. for one, they are very small if you wonna use the factory headrest, otherwise there are readymade ones, but are larger and to me, its too much of a mismatch. alot of those ones on ebay are really crappy so...

personally i think some of the brands mentioned above are all very good. I ran into some great deals w/ Kenwood, so that's what direction i took. i haven't yet found the time to replace the stock speakers yet, but they way it sounds right now doesn't bother me so it might be a while yet.

at least yours works! all i have is a blinky red light. i'm still trying to figure out my new alarm, so if i run into anything that'll correct the factory, i'll let you know.

that was meant to be a joke. seriously, i don't know...throttle sensor A, and then a couple other sensors, but Dealership says, no light, no fix.

ok, remote start works now. everything works now, except the lights they don't flash, and tailgate sensor. doubled checked all the wirings, seems all in order.

i had that same problem too. and trouble shot it to the little black box (backlight trailer circuit thingy). since i was too cheap to have that replaced ($180 from dealership) i just took it out (so i bypassed it.) now every trailer works, boat, camper, etc. The only thing that's been causing...
