Thanks! I am pretty happy at how it turned out, especially since it was intended to be a 'first draft'! I used materials I had around the house, except for the cheap carpeting I bought at Lowe's. I intend to re-do it with higher grade plywood and improve with what I learned, but it's good enough...

LED option I just received mine and have yet to unbox it. However, can someone point me to a video or instructions on how to connect the LEDs? I apologize if it somewhere in this thread, but over 50 pages is lot to look through! Also, I read previously in this thread that you can test the LEDs...

How about the JBL replacement version? I've been trying to find out more about the version OEM Plus makes for the Limited JBL system. Has anyone here installed that version? Specifically, I am concerned that the price is a bit high considering only the subwoofer is replaced. I also wonder how...

I added a USB hub to the front port, using Velcro to attach it to the underside of the recess. I used a 90 degree USB connection to the port, like this. Because of the short cable, the install looks pretty good and it sure is nice to be able to charge 4 devices. This is the hub: USB hub
