My headers just finally got delivered Monday, however, I'm having trouble getting my hands on the Y-pipes. My system is so rusted I don't dare have the header install done until I have the replacement Y-pipes, so I have yet to make an appointment.

That's really weird. I also just completed this upgrade with Centric parts (stuck with 4th gen rear rotors) and had zero clearance issues. My only real problem was severely rusted flange nuts on the hard lines and ending up spending and extra $80 to replace them all + some new bolts that broke...

Checked with Exhaust Pros in Aurora on Colfax. They "don't do" 4th Gen 4R's. Exhaust Pros in Northglenn on Huron (probably the one you referenced), quoted me ~$700, specified DT's were good-to-go, and said "do them all the time". Seems we have a winner.
