the boot time for my AVIC-z110bt is like 5-10 sec. about 15 sec maximum. not bad in my opinion

picked up my dash kit today. going to paint it flat black at some point in the next couple weeks (to complete the Silver-to-Black Conversion of the center dash) and then will have it installed by the shop.

Well, I called my install shop (who ordered the kit for me) and they said that something (that was ordered a while back) arrived in their warehouse Friday but they're not sure if it's my Metra dash kit or something else. So I'm going to call back on Tuesday when they'll retrieve it from the WH...

not trying to be a d!ck, but i wouldn't get my hopes up just yet if i were you... i hope i'm wrong, but i very highly doubt that you are getting the kit for the 2010 Runners. you might be getting a kit for another make or model or even year. i say this because i have been in contact with Metra...

i say go with the black seats because although they might get hotter, they also will not show signs of being dirty as much as the tan seats will, esp since you have a kid and dog. as for the dog, i received my Ultimate Pet Cargo Liners a few days ago and will be installing them this week...

Harper, could you take a picture while standing adjacent to the rear tire and facing the front tire and with the front door about 6 inches open so that we can assess the functionality of the sliders as a step? I hope that made sense. I know they're not meant as steps, but just curious...
