I've read about checking voltage/resistance on the TPS, but I've not tried it. I would need to see a picture/video of it being done to completely understand what I'm looking for.
Everything else with the driving experience is completely normal though. It starts up just fine. Idles very smooth...
My 2002 4Runner with 235,000+ miles (I'm the original owner) has started acting up on the freeway. The problem is most noticeable on cruise control, but it does happen on occasion when driving with the gas pedal. Basically the throttle will randomly cut out for any duration between 0-2 seconds...
I have an '02 w/ the Sport Package. I'll assume those are the fender flares you're referring to. There used to be a company called ATS. They made control arms that 'pushed' the tires out about 0.5" that prevented any rubbing. How do people get around this problem now?
What 2.5" suspension lift are you running? Did you do a diff drop? Do you have a web site with larger images? I'd like to see some closer shots to see it the body lift is very noticeable. I've been thinking to do a set up just like this but with a 1" body lift.
