Thanks for the reply. The issue is I wasn't able to get the skybox jaws to close (I wasn't using the fairing up front yet either, just 2 LFD cross bars). The jaws open up enough, but I could never get the jaws to snap back to the closed position. User error on my part? :shrug:
I've had a similar issue getting my Yakima Skybox hooked up with my LFD Crossbars. The LFD Crossbars definitely have better height than stock and would keep the box clamps/feet from scraping the roof, but I couldn't get the built in Yakima clamps to wrap around the crossbars. Did anyone ever...
