What is this part called!!??? (It's not a transfer case mount)

Yeah, you're probably right. I'll spend the money on a proper diagnosis and go from there.

What is this part called!!??? (It's not a transfer case mount)

I have a clunk upon acceleration from a stop or when accelerating after coasting and think I found the culprit, but I can't find the part number for the life of me. I would call it a transfer case mount/support. When looking at the TC from the rear, it's on the right side and is made of rubber...

HELP! Sounds TURRIBL after timing belt & water pump

UPDATE on my 4Runner. Some people thought that maybe the sound I was hearing after my timing belt job was something loose hitting another part of the engine. As it turns out, they were right! The noise in my video was from the fan clutch bolts not being tight enough. The fan was making contact...

A Weekend of Wrenching (plus I HATE rust)

After the alignment and garage clean up, it is SO satisfying to drive my 4Runner around! It tracks perfectly straight, the new suspension makes the ride amazingly comfortable, when combined with the new brakes make it seem like a new car. Though I had nothing to do with it, the engine is so...

A Weekend of Wrenching (plus I HATE rust)

I did skip the impact, and used a breaker bar instead, but I like the idea of going it with a male instead of cranking in it. I'm going to do the rear myself tomorrow and save $600. Lol.
