The fact that it evaporated after a few days is a good sign, it's not coolant from a leaking heater core. Though that leaked on the passenger side in my case. Your theory is probably correct if it isn't wet mostly by the door. I'd suggest letting it air out every so often if that is happening though

-Have an coolant leak from a leaking heater core (hard/expensive to fix) and keep driving it and topping it off when the temp needle starts to climb too high. -Leak apparently gets way worse driving to work since it's my only car I'm still driving it and it blows a huge cloud of steam billowing...

I just bought a liter of tc-w3 oil after reading that thread. I added 2 oz to my 3/4 full tank for now. I don't have any problems with the engine, other than it idles a bit high (~900rpm) but I'll see if I notice any difference. I'm just hoping I don't blow my motor up lol.
