The manual assistance for the locks along with the clearing of all codes worked for me. I have had the 4runner for years with no working key fobs. Today is a joyous day. Thanks guys.

You must be more leg than I...I am 6'4" and don't have any issues w/ mine.

Just asking, but what gears are you running? That might make a difference.

Congrats on the purchase, and good going getting all the basic maintenance out of the way so you won't have to worry about that. Maybe also register it at the Toyota Ownership site so you can see what service records they have on it.

Yeah, force of habit over the years. My actual offroading tools needs some work. I have a cheapo set of sockets and stuff that I have, but I need to work on picking up some recovery equipment.

Finished the lift except for a few tweaks. New shoes (Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70/R17). And got an alignment done.

Good .45 ACP (usually Sig P220R) and plenty of extra magazines. Backup gun (usually a little .38 snubnose). Two Benchmade Strykers, one standard and one auto. And a cell phone. Sorry, my tool kit may be a little different than most.

I hear you buddy. I'm 6'4" and 240#, definitely not built to be a contortionist to get that top nut on the shocks on and off. They were by far harder than the coils were.
