So after the third day. I hear another noise, sounds like a light tapping. I can’t pin point what it is right now. I guess I’ll have to wait till it gets a bit louder. *♂️

The first time I installed the SC and the belt , I had to have help from a buddy to really get the belt over the pulley. After replace the tensioner , the belt probably has stretched a bit. It was tight but not as bad as the first time installed.

Did anyone else had a hard time putting the belt on though ??? I think the belt itself is a bit short and it causing the tensioner to go bad. It doesn’t have enough slack Maybe ?

So when I emailed Magnuson and show them a video of what happened. They shipped out a new tensioner assembly ( Dayco) brand also. They shipped it and received within one day! That was impressive ! The new one I got look the same as the one I had with the kit. So I swapped out and so far...

So I have emailed Magnuson and hey are sending me a new belt tensioner, let’s see how it goes when I get it swap out.

So it seems like the tensioner that I have is a newer one ? But it have a lot of play and the rattle noise is louder with AC on.

I am Having the same issue with the fluttering and noise inside the cabin area especially with the AC compressor engaged. I’ll check the tensioner assembly tomorrow to see if it’s the newer style or the older one. Just had mine installed a week ago. *♂️

2004 sport edition rims These are painted with plastidip and the edges are scrapped off because when you mount tires on them it will scratch so I left them non painted. All the rims could use some touch up anyways. These are a set of 5 rims and the spare still have the new tire on it...

yeah my wiring cover did break in bits... I had to remove my charger , but it wasn't too bad. Just take your time so it won't leak oil. :thumb3:
