    4Runner hot wheels finally coming!!!

These are Hot Wheels Premiums, not mainlines like the $.99 ones. These typically are $5.99 and are full metal with rubber tires. Mainlines have a plastic base and plastic tires. Usually more details on these too. Anyways, my Walmarts around here are out of stock of basically everything. If...

    2010-2013 Spyder Headlights

The LED bar is connected to your little DRL bulb. They can be finnicky if not pushed in all the way.

noob oil change question when brand new

I usually go about 7k miles on every oil change with both my 4Runner and my wife's RAV4. Anywhere from 5-10k is safe if using full synthetic (which you always should). I'm dumb though and pay for expensive oil (Liqui-Moly)

    4-Runner Center Dashboard Redesign

If you're going to do this, you will need to start from scratch, maybe with a Scosche or Metra faceplate. I've taken apart a stock Nav radio. Everything is connected and controlled through one large circuit board that runs the entire length. I guess you may be able to get some buttons to work...

So the filter wrench helps you get your filter housing on and off. The metal housing is just an upgrade to the plastic one. The filter drain is a replacement for using the little plastic one that comes with every filter. Just makes it a cleaner change.

My Turn For A Trail Grid Pro Head-Unit Install

I think that's one downside of the aftermarket mics is that their quality isn't that great. It sounds like your position might be a little off though.

My Turn For A Trail Grid Pro Head-Unit Install

It works fine with this bracket. I have the same head unit and used the hidden bracket for the mic. I do believe it is a snug fit, but it works.

Found out after seeing this thread that I was on software version 1.0. Updated to 1.12 (current) and now I can add custom wallpapers. Score!

Headunit Upgrade - Sony XAV-AX7000: Trail Grid Pro

Nice writeup. I have the same headunit in my 2012 TE but ordered from Crutchfield. That was about a year ago. I ended up connecting to an aftermarket XM antenna since my factory shark fin was getting bad reception. I like the clean looks of this unit and its interface. The one thing I haven't...

    Time Capsule 2013 Trail Edition

Nice! I bought my 2012 Trail 2.5 years ago with 58k on it. Now up to 92k miles and loving it still! I got mine from CT so it looked pretty similar underneath. Yours looks like it was driven in the winter, sine there is some rust underneath. I would get some undercoating done to protect it from...

I ended up going with the new Canvas back ones. They are just long wedges that go in between. No extra storage, but blocks the openings. Wedge | Canvasback.com
