I use my Dell x50V with a Bluetooth GPS device. I love the combo, along with having all the capabilities of the PDA. I use mapopolis which has so far been the best routing software I have tried. I will have to post some pics of my setup in my 4runner later tonight.
I was out in AZ last week. Did 75mph almost the whole way there and got 20.25 mpg. Coming back i kept it at 65mph and got 22.12 mpg. (from calculator, not the computer). I would try 55mph, but every semi on the road would be blowing past me.
This reminded me to check a rebate I received email confirmation for back in february. Still no check, but at least is was "aprroved". I think they plan on you just forgetting about them....
I was wondering what kind of drop people were seeing when towing? Right now I am getting about 19/22 without a trailer.
I am looking to tow about 3000+ lbs across the US this summer with my V6.
I have seen this OBD II Diag Tool . You can download the free software and hook it up to a laptop and save/graph the data. There is a demonstraion mode you can try without having the hardware too.
The page does mentions possibly needing a "CAN" interface for 2005 4Runners. I haven't...
