Recommended coil/shocks for carrying 400+ lbs in the back of my 3rd gen

I'm incredibly pleased with my 906s, 5100s, and airbags. Once broken in I found the setup a little soft without the airbags. I run the airbags at about 10psi and never see sag including when towing. The ride is phenomenal and I think it's just tall enough to be purdy.

4th Gen Wheel Swap Lug Nut And Tire Size Questions

I've got my winter/camping/get em dirty tires on 4th gen 17s. I want to say that they're 265/70/17. Never had any problems with rubbing, even with the tires buried in the wheel wells. They are fine stock and even better now that it's lifted.

    Constant front end squeal

I'll definitely check that dust shield this weekend. I've got a buddy who will be taking my rig into his tech program and doing all the suspension components I buy. As much as id love to take a week and do it all myself, I can't justify the added headache, and I won't complain at free labor...

    Constant front end squeal

More info: I have not been able to replicate the sound by rocking my car. The sound is constant when the car is moving, but sometimes it takes a minute or two to show up. It stops immediately when the car stops, then resumes once I get moving again. It is most definitely coming from the driver...

    Constant front end squeal

I've only got ball joints and hardware for them. I've also got struts and the hardware for those. Ive not found info on tie rods failing, is this something I need to jump on asap? Is there a huge difference in brands for tie rods?

    Constant front end squeal

Hey all. I've noticed a squeak coming from the front left of my rig. It first showed up maybe a few weeks ago intermittently, gradually getting worse until now it's constant. It is not so loud that you can't drown it out, but can be noticeable with Windows up. Strangely enough it went away for a...

    Colorado road trip

If you're in Durango for any amount of time you've got to check out Kennebec pass. Coming up the backside is a nice easy drive. The descent isnt technical, but runs along a pretty hefty drop. You can always go back down the back side, but the views at the peak are worth it.

    Help! Car dies after starting!

I've had similar issues intermittently, though not on a hill. Starts up, sputters, then dies. Several times in a row before it starts and runs well. From my research I've gathered that the Idle Air control valve gets stuck and needs cleaned. I haven't done this yet, but it hasn't been a major...

Can I wire a trailer brake via existing fuses?

I have recently found need for, and acquired, a trailer brake unit for my 02 SR5 4WD. I've seen schematics for wiring involving running power through the firewall to the unit, then control wires to the 7 pin connector in the back. Can I run power from an existing fuses under the dash? I know...

There are 3rd gens all over Denver

Can say the same up here in Fort Collins. Alf the cars on the road are older Toyotas and Subarus.

    3rd Gen to 5th Gen

I chose my 3rd gen because it's smaller, taller, and generally a bit more up for getting dirty, from what I've gathered, than what's come since. If I ever had to replace it I'd look into a newer fj. Wouldn't dream of leaving Toyota though.

    SOS in CO

I don't think so, the recovery was two trucks, retrieving a passenger car, and the story I heard had nowhere near as much drama.
