Grab handle retro-fit for drivers A pillar?

I’ve done some searching around online and it seems this isn’t a difficult mod, one site mentioned a “bracket” that’s needed and was made or sold by a member on another 4Runner site? It’s an old thread and some info was missing.. I have an ‘18 TRD Off Road Premium and really would like to have...

    Coil packs

Thanks all for the replies. Absolutely would only be using Denso parts. Everything else has been done maintenance wise. MAF was cleaned. Plugs are fairly new. Air filter is clean. Yada, yada. All that had me wondering if the ignition coils could be suspect.

    Coil packs

Yeah, they have lasted plenty long for sure. My question though is do they start to wear out… do they deliver s weaker spark towards the end of their life, or do they work 100% until they don’t? Make sense?

    Coil packs

I have an ‘07, V8 4Runner… she’s got approximately 240k on the original ignition coils. There’s no stuttering or misfiring but I could swear my mpg’s are down. The usual tune up stuff has been done. Do these things “wear out” or do they run till they just break. (Referring to the ignition...

    Ignition coil replacement?

My ‘07 V8 4Runner has almost 230k miles on her. I’m a stickler for maintenance with it. My question is concerning the ignition coils. Do these slowly “wear out”, similar to spark plugs or do they simply work fine until they die? They’re original to the vehicle, basically I’m trying to decide...

Secondary air injection pump nightmare: 2005 4 Runner V8

I realize I’m late to the game here, but could someone be kind enough to post an actual link to the SAI pump bypass kit? I found something made by Hewitt in a web search? Is that it or just a competitor? Thanks guys

Need some advise for my 2007 4Runners LCA bushings and PS rack

So we’re going on a long road trip in about a month and I have my 4Runner at a local Toyota only repair place I trust a lot getting a look over. I just got a quick phone call saying my steering rack is leaking badly and the lower control arm bushing are shot. Now, before y’all say do it...

    Horrible ammonia smell from exhaust

Sorry guys, I found some old responses to this issue. Seems it’s a common thing.

    Horrible ammonia smell from exhaust

I’m wondering if my cat is bad... if I drive with the rear window down any at all I get a horrendous ammonia smell sucked inside. It’s a 2007 V8 4Runner. About 183k on the odo. Ideas? Thanks!

    5th Gen Calipers

I've seen and quoted this to mechanics around here. They're clueless, literally.

    5th Gen Calipers

@ Zeus....the problem is, I can't find any mechanics locally that share your mentality concerning brake jobs. I'm quite confident that the Australian DBA rotrs and something along the lines of Hawk pads would solve 80% of my problem, but nobody will do a "correct" brake job as you describe on...

    5th Gen Calipers

I'm well past doing brake work on my vehicles. Lumbar fusion took care of that. I do trust the guys that have been servicing it though. This 2007 V8, 4x4 is my 6th 4Runner. (18" wheels btw). I think I've made it 12k miles on this job and my steering wheel is vibrating like crazy while...
