I have both the SS3 pro fogs and driving pods in 6K installed and I love them. I would post pics but it's such a pain on this forum with the file limits (should increase those..). I'm very impressed by the quality of these and also love their powder coated mount that matches perfectly with any...
Having the same issue as well. When I called Baja they didn't provide any helpful tips for me since they don't make the switch. Would be curious if someone knows how to properly wire these up with the upgraded relay harness and OEM style switch.
Overall I really like them. Definitely brighter than any LED I've tried in the low beam, although much more expensive. I'd recommend it, especially for the 4800k color which is right in the middle - and I assume they will get cooler after some use.
I took some night shots with the XD Philips...
I am now just waiting on the replacement bulb that was sent out. I'd suggest that you guys hire a couple more support folks, it's been difficult to get ahold of anyone via phone and email. Still won't deter me from buying XD products because you guys are far superior, but if anyone else is...
I installed the Xenon Depot XV2 HIDs and they are awesome but one of the bulbs is about half as bright as the other (tested on both sides to verify). I emailed XD and although it took them a few days to respond, they are sending a replacement bulb out. I'll post a vid and pics of my setup soon.
XD Philips XV2 HID
Has anyone tried the new Xenon Depot Philips XV2 (4800k) HID kit? Not sure how long it's been out but I just ordered it for my 19 TRD ORP so if anyone's interested I will post some beam shots once they're installed.
I do plan on experimenting with taps. Both lights are on separate circuits on this switch. The top light seems to get power from the green -> black connection. The bottom light is now working with the headlights just because of the fuse I tapped from Red2 into a different fuse spot than what was...
Thanks for the write up! I wired mine basically the same way but I put the fuse tap in the 7.5A "panel" slot and now the bottom light only comes on when the headlights are on. Still trying to figure out if there's a way to wire it up to where the top light doesn't stay on 24/7. Any suggestions?
