I've got say that it does. Mine is off an '06 V6. If you blow through it, barely feel any air pressure. That plus the 1st air filter is creating twice resistance of air flow. Just my observation.
I hope it doesn't make you fail emisssions! I took mine out, and it doesn't unbolt or anything like that, so in other words I snapped it out. But, it is highly restricitive for air flow. I can feel the power just by removing it!:D Maybe.....
I read this also, but after searching a little more, I don't think the 4Runner's have it. Only the Highlander and Tundra, maybe Sienna's. I searched under my dash and found a loose 40 pin connector and in under the hood I found a spard plug for an extra horn.
Where is the subwoofer
I've got an '06 4Runner SR5 with the standard HU w/CD player. I've probably don't have the sub, but where is the sub located on the other 4Runners? I figure they've got to have al least the opening available for adding one in, right?
