bit of an update ... the mechanic changed some vacuum hoses, check the plugs and wires which were ok, but got to the fuel injectors and they were super dirty. Completely black and clogged. He soaked them in fuel (not sure if this is the right thing to do?!) and cleaned them but they still don't...

Hey again ... Unfortunately still getting this hard starting problem ... I thought that it was occurring mostly when the tank was full or just after I'd refuelled (or could just be coincidence) ... so put in a new fuel filter and also a new fuel pump. Still getting the problem. Any other ideas...

ok whoa ... got it all apart and it was dirty in there. Totally clogged up. See attached pics of it before and after a bit of a clean. You can see that there is actually a chunk of metal that has corroded away on both the IAC and the TB ... what do you guys think about this... should replace...
