THANKS! Gonna do some of things discussed on the searches. I have a lot better understanding of how it works now!

The drivers side brake light isn't working and I have changed the bulb and also tried switching the bulb socket to the other side light assembly. It works on the passenger side and passenger side doesn't work on drivers. Guess something is messed up in the wiring on the drivers side assembly...
