This worked for me; I have a '99 Limited, I bought 2 new transponder keys on Amazon for around $15 and programmed them both using the instructions you gave us. Thanks!!
I totally get it! When my '98 SR5 finally died after a long illness, we debated getting a new/almost new Tahoe/Suburban after driving a couple rentals and loving them. HA! Then I went out and bought my sweet new-to-me '99 Limited and it was the best $45k I ever saved! 4runner all the way :)
