This happened to me. I just about got really angry haha (till i figured out the rear window was not rolled up all the way) considering the truck was a week old. I think this has happened to multiple people, check that back window!

I went in to the tire shop in person and talked to the guy who worked there some more about the BFG A/T KO's and he still was convinced that buying that tire (275/70/17 E) was just about the most crazy thing he's ever heard, haha. I told him that my friend has the same tires on a 2000 ford...

That's what some of the tire dealers I am talking to are saying also.

Thanks for the reply, that story is pretty impressive. I found some BFG T/A KO's for $160 so thats what I'm leaning towards at the moment but is having an E rated tire bad for long road trips of 65-85 mph? How much on-road comfort am I going to sacrifice?

Well I've only taken my truck on one trip...3.5 hours both ways. However, on the way back I had 3 very hungover individuals in the backseat and they never complained about it. :P I've never had anyone complain driving around town either.

Same smell in my garage. I'm thinking its the armor all type stuff they put on the tires at the dealer. I can't smell it unless its in my garage. I don't exactly spend a lot of time in my apartment garage so it doesn't exactly bother me.

Just picked mine up yesterday. SR5, leather, tint, running boards, bluetooth, sex machine. Didn't think I'd use the bluetooth but I was dead wrong.
