Selling my 1990 Toyota 4Runner V6 4x4 316,000km on body 200,000km on engine/tranny Had a blown HG. No mixture into the oil and ran fine up until I noticed the coolant smell when it was warming up in the driveway. No overheating. Heads are off currently as I was repairing it but it got too cold...

So here's where the headgasket failed...anyone know which cylinder this is? And there was a pool of oil around this sensor. Is this the knock sensor??

Take it through a carwash and get the underside sprayed. Bring it home and set a piece of cardboard under it and wait for the oil spot to appear. See if you can trace it up from there. Could be a valve cover gasket or a rear main seal.

I have no real idea...... adjust the needle as a bandaid fix??

Aren't they held on with only 2 bolts each?? Spend 5mins and take them off of one side and check it out...

Mine has 316,000km's Expect the back window to not go up and down and the tailgate to be rusted or gone completely (if you're in Canada). Before you start it up check the oil....is it dirty, milky, low, none, too full, etc... The gas lines, brake lines. 90's 4Runners original lines are...

Anyone have a rear passenger door for a 90-95 4Runner? The metal around the door handle rusted out.......then the door handle fell out :( Let me know if anyone has anything please. Thanks

Looking for some rear doors and a tailgate (intended for the spare tire mount) for a 90-95 4Runner. Canadian winters are brutal on these trucks :(
