    Bfg 275/65/20

Any on-road updates on 285/55/20 stock limited rims? This is the way to go if there's no danger running them. Any updates from those who have had them on? Thanks.

I'm in Raleigh as well... was planning on going to the U this weekend but life got in the way. If y'all decide to go let me know, I'd love to tag along.

    Rear window acting really funny.

My rear window did the same thing.... then quit. After 2 or 3 trips to Toyota and 8 or 9 hours wasted they finally diagnosed as a bad fuse block and replaced. Hope that saves you some time if that's what it is but I hope that's not what it is... if it hadn't been a waranty issue: >$900

I need some "snow driving" advice!

Nice area, I'm in Cary Park so 15-ish minutes away. They have "salted" a lot of the roads, for whatever good that will do. I have to make the call as to whether or not the Triangle Aquatic Center will open up tomorrow as well. I'm trying to wait unti the last minute to make that call. We...

I need some "snow driving" advice!

What part of Raleigh? I'm close to the RTP area, so N.W. wake co. Problem with this weekend is I need to be in the Triad Saturday AM, they are calling for more snow than Raleigh but hopefully I'll get there and back before everyone with bald tires hits the road!

Yes. No doubt about laughing at SUVs in ditches. The good thing about not getting snow frequently is that generally there isn't a ton of traffic out until it begins to melt. I'll have the roads mostly to myself so I can get done what I need to get done and then head back inside!

Awesome. Thanks and thanks to everyone else who offered the solid technical advice and answers to my q’s. It looks like we may actually see close to a foot, hopefully I will have a chance to take some pictures while i'm out.

Yeh, I sort of thought that went without being said. Along with driving to go get beer before I start drinking it. Thanks.

I need some "snow driving" advice!

North Carolina and it's about to snow... doesnt happen too often! I have a 2008 4x4 v6 so I have both a center diff lock button AND a VSC kill switch. If I'm driving in snow, what's the best option? If the conditions are ICY, what are the best options? Curious as to what everyone's...

Saw a 5th Gen on the road (i like my 4th gen better)

The interior of the 5th gen is better than the 4th. I really like how the 4wd controlls are overhead. Overall I like the 4th gen exterior better, but I do thing the nose of the 5th gen is sweet. Our nose looks a little weak sometimes when you compare it with the sharp lines and huge grills of...

I have a 2008 and the same thing happened to me.... after 3 trips to toyota and around 8 hours of diagnostic they finally figured out it was a failed "fuse block" in the dash. they tried the fuses, new window motor, and a few other things. mine was under the extended waranty so it only set me...

    Stuck!

2.5" in the front and I think 1.5" in the back. It measures out to be a very, very slight rake back to front. It looks dead level though. I really want a set of FJ springs for the back to give it a little more rake. I like the look of the stock rake (unlike most) but the stock height is way...
