Bumping an old thread, in hopes that you see this. I have been talking to the same company, and also have a Limited (2006). According to the door code, the color is Taupe, which US Auto Nation doesn't seem to carry. Any insights? Still happy with the product?

FS is the hood from my 2006 4Runner. Paint is rough but hood is very straight. I bought a replacement hood in the same color, so selling the original hood. Also for sale is a grill from an early 4th gen. Price is $200 for both obo. Would prefer not to ship the hood but will at buyer's expense.

Now that I got the new headlights in, I wanted to do some accent work with plasti-dip. Very happy with the results! Interested to see how it holds up. Before: After (lighting is not great - I did the lower grill and center section too):

Thanks for the heads up! I wonder if keeping the lenses waxed would help ward off the clear coat issue. Worth a try I guess.

On a somewhat related note, I want to pull my grill off so I can plasti-dip it. Any links on how best to take off the hood latch on the underside of the grill?
