Small Accident over the weekend PDR or Auto Body.

I'd go with PDR if possible to preserve the original paint. Competent PDR techs can work some real miracles.

    Tire warning light

If all tire pressures are good then I would assume one or more of the TPMS sensors is faulty. How old are they?

    VIN # Question?

From what I'm reading, the 9th digit (1 & 5 in your examples) is just a check digit. R being the model year (1994 or 2024).

    Pics- Bilstein 5100 Front Lift

I will reiterate what El Dusty said. Your shop is either lying or incompetent. It's the opposite of what they said. The front 5100's are lift height adjustable and meant to be able to work with stock springs. They have 4 snap ring grooves that allow lift heights of 0", .85", 1.25", 2.5"...

Want to run OEM LED low/halogen high beam housings in a 2020 ORP

I don't know if the part numbers are correct but I did this exact install on my '19 TRD ORP. I got a set of used headlights from a '21 T4R off of ebay. I did the unpin deal as there was no harness available at that time. No problems at all and they work & look great. In case you aren't...

    Trail/fj wheels

I don't believe that is true, at least not with those wheels. My '13 FJ came with them, and they were definitely 17".

Question about 4WD monthly maintenance on an ORP

In 4WD the tires need to be able to slip when turning or else the drive line will bind up since the front & rear diffs will be locked together. When turning something must give and if it's not the tires then it will be drive line components breaking. That's why it's bad turn while in 4WD on...

Front rubber fender well splash shields squeaking

I always hear a faint squeaking up front. I found a thread here where someone mentioned it's the front rubber fender well splash shields. My splash shields aren't torn but sure enough they are loose enough that they squeak if I move them with my hand. My question is, do the aftermarket splash...

How do I know when nmy drive belt needs replacing?

I checked my '19 owner's manual and unless I missed it, it doesn't list a mileage or time to change the drive belt. It says the initial inspection happens at 60k miles then every 15k miles afterwards. That said, I have always changed mine at 90k miles as a preventative.

    Oil Change Interval Poll

    Every 5000 miles. As in +/-25 miles of each 5000 mile odometer milestone (e.g. 5k, 10k, 15k, 20k, etc). I'm pretty OCD. :biggrin2:

    Removing Rear Rotors

I've replaced my rear rotors and didn't have any issues or have to adjust the parking brake. It was a snug fit but they pulled off and installed with just the brake released. My parking brake needs to be adjusted a little to firm it up so that might've contributed to the job being on the...

How do these prices look on 60k maintenance for a 2016 SR5?

If you don't normally do your own maintenance or really want to DIY then you might be better off having the dealer or a trusted shop do the work. I've done all of those jobs and don't think they are particularly difficult. I also have the tools, drain pans, etc required and want to do them...

    Did I just get lucky?

I have the NOCO GB40. It works great as I've used it 3 times now to jump start my '19 T4R ORP without any problems. With the matching storage case it fits perfectly in the little storage cubby hole above the passenger rear wheel well. I used to have a set up jumper cables crammed in there...

Issue w/ Viofo A119 Dash Cam and Fuse Tap

It looks like you are using the correct fuse tap. If the original fuse fits into it then it is correct. I would think that it should work with just the ACC wire connected but make sure you are using a fuse slot that will work for that. Fuse position within the fuse tap and the fuse tap...

    Power steering fluid?

I haven't changed the PSF in my 4Runner yet but that's how I did it in my FJ Cruiser. Worked well and was easy.
