I actually just got around to installing the rack today. The mounting hardware was not in the package. I thought the bolts in the roof would work, but they are too short. I contacted the seller to see what he will do. He has a high rating, so I am guessing he will take care of me. Stay tuned...

I purchased an OEM sport rack on Ebay for my '07 4runner. It was $200. It looked like the guy had a bunch of new OEM racks for the runner. My runner didn't come with a rack. Ebay roof racks

I've always believed in not going over 80% of capacity dry weight. That way, you don't have to worry too much about towing with a full tank of fuel etc.

I would take the longer commute in the car. I love my '07 4Runner, but I'd rather drive my '06 Maxima. I understand the Maxima is no G car and not a coupe, but I still prefer to commute in cars.

I just purchased this today because my iphone 3g would not work with my Scion T1808. Everything works now; my phone charges and I can listen to music from my playlists and even use the Pandora app to play music. I don't think I can accept calls or email while it is hooked up though.
