yeah i couldnt believe how much the insert was. since i work where i bought the hood the insert ended up costing me more than the hood it self.

you can buy a aftermarket sport hood for like $160 then you would have to go to a dealer and buy the insert And by aftermarket i mean from like keystone auto parts or continental auto parts or anything other dealers like those

haha nope that is what i replaced this hood with... believe it or not you can actually go to your local body shop supply shop and they can get you an aftermarket sport hood for it. Then all you will have to do is go to Toyota and get the screen insert. I work at a shop thats how i bought mine...

my 2000 has the same wheels too. And i think thats a pretty good deal but make me realize i really stole mine. I bought my 2000 SR5 4x4 with 45k on it for $6500
