    IQUE Nav Bundle

The bean bag puts the ique at a perfect angle for viewing and the right place for good satellite reception if you place it right in front of the center channel speaker. It doesn't slide around much. Mine has fallen twice, once during a high speed excursion across a frozen lake (hit a big...

Garmin iQue voice nav questions and Topo maps questions.

I don't have the software with me but I am almost positive you have to go back to the original installation CD and there was a change voice option there.

    Advice on buying a boat?

Try to find a large boat dealer even if it is out of your area. Bigger boat dealers are like bigger car dealers, they have to move iron to stay in business. With the money you save you can easily justify the extra hassle of travel/transportation. Boats are a funny thing, a lot of people buy...

    Custom Garmin GPS installation

    XM antenna routing

I ran the wire along the headliner and various window/door gaskets and back to the rear hatch. Out the rear hatch along the gasket and then out onto the roof. Big improvement in signal integrity and the basic wiring only took about 15 minutes.. woot!

Perfect, that's what I was hoping for, thanks for the feedback.

    XM antenna routing

I recently picked up an XM2Go unit and it comes with about a zillion accessories, including a car antenna. I tried simulating a dash mounting and an external mounting and it definetly works better mounted outside the vehicle. I was wondering if anyone has routed a wire to the outside of the...
