possibly a fuse? i'll say this, on my mr2 my cig lighter/outlet didnt work and i had to go buy a new universal unit from advance for a few dollars and rig up someting that worked. cost about 5 bucks and 10 minutes of my time and it never caused me a problem again. but id start at a fuse.
