Thanks for your reply. The problem I have is not with the latch on the lift gate, its the actual motor and regulator that raises and lowers the window in the lift gate. Do you know of any links that would help.

Does anyone have installation instructions or pointers on installing a regulator and motor on the liftgate of a 2003 4 Runner.
