    FS 03-09 4Runner Console Vault - $200 North Georgia

Great addition to the 4th gen console. Tons of room. No longer in production. Hole drilled in top is for the aux cable.

    Eric's Build/Adventure Thread

Rust finally caught up to this truck a year ago. Rear upper control arm mounted busted off the frame, rockers were toast, transfer case stopped working. I got a lot of miles out of it while winter salt ate it away bit by bit. Living in GA now. Have this 13 Outback I got when I sold it and 07 GX...

Fixed my T-Case actuator w/ electricity and logic.

Resurrecting this because I need some help. What would be a good variable voltage power supply to do this with? Was searching to see if anyone had made any videos doing this and couldn't find any. My actuator motor seems like it might be seized up and want to give this a go before I start...

Wet driver's side floor (under mat)

I don't know how long this has been happening with my 4runner, but I pulled off my weathertech mat the other day and to my surprise, the drivers side carpet is wet and the padding underneath was soaked. Pulled up the carpet enough to get a floor fan under there, but still can't find the actual...

4Runner with the Milky Way from the parking lot of Little Sable Point, along with a cool clip I shot from moonset to twilight. <iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/teBx17V9pLw" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay...

265/70/17 owners, wish you've gone bigger?

3 inch in the back a little less than 3 in the front, 285s are perfect. I went 295 for a bit and it was too much but still worked. The 265 just looked weird with the lift.

Alternative to roof rack end caps

Old thread but thank you for this. I didn't even think of zip ties. My sport rack lost the driver side covers and the new ones barely stay in even with the new metal inserts.

4th gen rust/known maint. issues for buying used??

I always get a little jealous when I see pics of the clean frames on here. Looks super solid.

    Front end Wander

Those 1A Auto videos are great. I have been binge watching them recently to get ready to do some of this stuff myself.

    Severe nose dive, ABS module??

I have the emergency braking nose dive for sure. It's scary because it kind of kicks in when it wants to with sudden braking. I haven't looked into it much though.

Only one fog working, what is this connector called?

Okay, I'm a doofus and this is fixed. when clipped the connector, I should have moved the rubber sheathing off the harness side to see the splice from the original fog harness into the PIAA connectors wiring. The green wire from the original harness was supposed to be connected to the white...

Keep Sport Tube Steps or Not?

If you aren't doing any crazy trails with big rocks, you will be fine keeping the tubes. I have an 07 Sport and replaced the tubes with DO hybrid sliders bolt mounted to the frame, but I have yet to actually "use" them. Only as steps. RCI skid plates on the other hand. Those I would buy.

Only one fog working, what is this connector called?

I figured I would update on this. Last night I clipped the wires at both sides of the white connector and joined them without it. When I turned the fogs on, it blew the fog fuse. Today, I took the light out of the bumper again, made sure that everything was connected, put a new fuse in, and...

Rear suspension issues after changing shocks

If you have the time and want to try to figure it out yourself, I would watch a bunch of videos on 4th gen suspension installs and pay attention to the components. While doing that look at your components and make sure everything is in how it should be. If you have a 1 inch lift I would assume...
