Its a mini skid plate for the fuel filter.

That nice and it looks like it still has the original radiator. Ticking time bomb. Frame was just spray painted as well, the rust is already poking through though. Looks like it has had a lot of lipstick put on it.

Sure it is not the evap solenoid that sits in front of the booster on top of the inner fender well? If so, I'm pretty sure it is normal for those to tick. My 99 does.

IIRC, it's somewhere in the 270-290 range. Basically right before it starts blowing out of the vent tube. I think I saw that on another forum so take it with a grain of salt. Personally I've never seen the light come on but I've never had it over 220 or so.

I just replaced the originals in my 99 with 906's. They ride very nice. I don't usually have a lot of weight in the back. Amazon has the set for ~$180 IIRC.

Yes, had the Daystars for a very short time. I didn't like how it rode. I replaced them with 906's and it rides great.

Just my 2 cents. I had those spacers for about 2 days before I just bought the right springs. It rode like crap because you were already preloading the spring and it felt like the back end was skating around over bumps and potholes. Like I said, just my 2 cents.

If your LBJ's have "a little play" it is definitely time to change them out. As has been stated get the OEM from an online dealership. Ebay etc. has been know to sell fakes claiming they are OEM. It is not a hard job, 4 bolts and 2 castle nuts per side. I just did mine and it took about an...
