I almost wrote out the same thing. A CD is what, 128bit audio? A regular 192bit mp3 contains more audio spectrum than that 128bit CD, there's even 256 and higher mp3s, and then there FLAC as you mentioned, ogg files, etc. There's WAY better audio option than a CD.

I have tinnitus also and have wondered before of the muddiness was it screwing with me at times. I swear there's some songs that actually sound better than others on Apple Music in the 4R.

Ours were 2004-05 models, but yeah, that's pretty much what we drove. Not as nice on the inside either, the door panels more way more utilitarian.

My Wife loves her 19 MDX, the only reason she got the MDX over the RDX was the third row as mentioned. Her biggest complaint and love of the 4Runner is that it is more truck like which makes sense given our body on frame vs the MDX.
