Not trolling, seriously I'm looking to remove me SC to send it in for a rebuild. I downloaded the manual. Is it simply a matter of working backwards from the end I've read people take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. TIA for your insight!

2nd gen, I believe: Truck and SC has 125k on it. SC was installed by dealer when purchased new. I have no baseline comparisons for what it's "supposed" to feel like. It pulls strong (for me) with no pinging noises. Has SC whine, but SC sounds "chattery" at idle. Not sure if that makes sense...
