Well the seller has a negative feedback on ebay from the guy who "won" the bidding on the 97 4Runner because the seller refused to sell it to him because he said the 11k winning bid is too low even though he had no reserve on it!

Thanks. Something still strikes me as fishy about the deal. Why would you go through the trouble of bidding (only at the last minute) on a car and win it and then back out of the deal a few minutes later? And if the seller backed out because he didn't get the price he wanted, isn't he obligated...

Which craigslist does he have it in? The Denver one? I just thought it was strange that the deal had already fallen through within minutes of the ending bid. I don't believe there was a reserve on it but the winning bid must have been a lot lower than he was wanting for it.
