I bought the Thule Motion XT XL Roof Box at REI for my 5th Gen 4R a couple weeks ago. I mounted it on the OEM cross bars and it fits very well -- clears the open rear hatch and the satellite antenna. I used it to haul luggage and gear on a trip last weekend and it worked great.

Hi all, Happy new T4R Nautical Blue TRDORP owner from Orange County, CA here. Glad to be back in a 4Runner and am loving this one. Had it off road on its 3rd tank of gas to try the tech and it worked great of course. I plan to go with new wheels and 285/17/70's, a lift and a full length roof box...

Hey Tim, Really enjoying this thread -- thanks for letting us look over your shoulder! The thing that connected me with it was looking for pics of the Method 309, Grid, Titanium wheels. I was pretty much settled on them with KO2's for my new Nautical Blue Off Road and seeing your 4R with them...

Looks great! I've been thinking about doing the same. How big a deal was it to get them off the body? Heat with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive?
