Skippy, that might do it! At least it gives us a start on checking the obvious (wires). Got my bud coming over tomorrow with his meter and we'll run a check on the lines... beyond that, I'm not sure what to do. If I ever run into ya, I'm buying the first round!

1997 SR5, 3800, 170K. Runs and functions like a f-ing champ! OK, went for inspection here in NC and there is NO signal coming from the OBD2 plug. There IS power coming off whatever pin the Haynes manual says is power (4th?)... putting out 12.4 off and 11.6-11.8 power on. Tested at 4 inspection...
