    Headlight help

Used a multi meter to test DC voltage at the fuse posts, also checked continuity across the fuse and even swapped fuses with the working driver side lowbeam fuse. I haven't gotten a chance to run a jumper wire for testing purposes yet. I will try that on Friday.

    Headlight help

I could use a jumper wire from the fuse to the bulb. I will try that. The wiring harness looks good. I am afraid the issue within the fusebox. I can't seem to find a good video on how to open the fusebox.

    Headlight help

I have had it since 2016. The light used to work and one day stopped. No modification to anything, it is 100% stock. Highbeams on both sides work. Running lights on both sides work. The bulb is new, and tests good with a multi meter. I will check the diagram, thank you.

If the 6th Gen was Built in Mexico…

There is a huge Toyota factory near Tecate in Baja California. It is east of Tijuana. Hundreds of Tacomas have been crossing the border daily, for at least the last 3-4 years. Maybe longer. I haven't heard of any issues with the Mexican built products. Lots of international factories are all...

    Best Multimeter

I picked up a Craftsman Mutlimeter for like $40 or something almost 20 years ago. It works well for the average DIYer around the house, under the hood and on the home electronics bench. I wouldn't use it for calibrating electrical transmitter instruments.

Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

My 2015 4Runner SR5, 100% stock everything gets about 14.7 MPG. That is mainly with 1 or 2 passengers and zero cargo, driving around San Diego and Tijuana. On the freeway, we can see 17-18 MPG. We have Michelin tires.

Lasfit Air - Portable Tire Inflator (and General Air Compressor Options)

I have the Milwaukee M12 and M18 Inflators. The M18 inflator is great! I have taken it with me many times. I have aired down my tires to ~10-12 PSIG while playing on the sand at the beach. At the end of the day, just before getting back on the road, inflated all 4 tires back to 35 PSIG in about...

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

New here. I want to post my own threads but need to reply to existing threads first. So, I haven't done anything in my 2015 SR5 4Runner today. But I did attempt to diagnose a couple issues I am having with the passenger side low beam light and zero point calibration. I wont get into it here...
