FWIW, I had an 02 SR5 Sport. I will always regret my decision to sell it...even compared to the GX I have now. There was something just so perfect about that truck...
Congrats on the new rig -- I like the white. I had a similar experience with my 5th gen. I replaced a 2015 TEP that I bought new for a 2008 SR5 (I've had 4 T4Rs). While the 5th gen was great, I had a few gripes that made me like the 4th gen more (and especially the 3rd gen).
The biggest...
It's an awesome truck. It went to a woman who was very familiar with it (she was shopping for a while), and I felt good about letting it go.
Surprise, surprise...I ended up with a GX470. More room, just a few more ticks on the odometer, and recent change of the timing belt and air ride...
I think another member nailed it on the head -- resell is important to consider. There will always be a market for the 2wd versions, sure... BUT, there is a MUCH broader market for the 4wd version. Add to that the fact that you'll want to go all weekend warrior in your truck and drive/camp...

If this is real...and it's in good shape...someone's going to get an awesome truck. Hopefully everything works (especially the 4wd), given it's only been used ~387/year over the last 24 years...
1993 4runner Limited that runs and drives like a champion!
Seriously... That little card makes 10 minutes of appendix work an easy 30 second read. I think people have learned to tune it out though -- people like Jeep people.
Forgot to add that this guy was a split second from trying to engage 4lo in drive too. Literally something you could learn from 10 seconds of reading in the manual. My guess is his Jeep took it in the shorts a few times when he was feeling like a real badass in 4lo in a parking lot closer to...
Nope, they're in pretty good shape. There's some superficial rust on the frame from the previous owner being less of a neat freak than me, but nothing I would be even close to worried about. I had planned on giving it a POR15 bath after wire brushing it off a bit, but I never got that far. I...
