    Relatively quiet tires

Noise is all relative, I took the family on a 3000 mile road trip last summer from Alberta Canada to Moab to Ouray and back with no problems. And I've got the full Bajarack and its pretty tolerable for us.

Steering Wobble While Returning To Centre/Straight

Seeing as how the truck is built in Japan I think you've got your units of measurement backwards... But having said that I've had the same thing even with winter tires of stock size. and no mods. I didn't buy my truck expecting it to drive like a car. I take it places that require after...

    Crossmember - Broken Welded Nuts

The CBI armor requires you to remove those completely. I've been to Moab since and have had no issues with it so go ahead and take them off.

    Moab for beginners?

I just took my family there 2 weeks ago. I second that you need a lift for Fins and things unless you've got an excellent spotter (I didn't). Also an understanding passenger (I didn't). As for a gentle drive, we did Hurrah Pass and I've done Tusher tunnel in the past. Just gravelly roads with...

    MOAB Solo recommendations

Hey there, planning a family trip this July (just after FJ Summit) in Moab and Colorado and looking for 4Runner recommendations for trails to do with a stock-ish rig solo. We will have our dog(6 months) with us so I know we are restricted away from the parks but I do have a list of options...

    Winter recovery gear...

Stay away from Smittybilt elements in cold. Had 2 sets fail on me. they are too brittle. I use Tred Pros and they are rated for 5F, lifetime warranty too. Maxtraxs work great too, I don't have a local distributor.

Building a 5th gen for SEMA and tech articles

That nfab rack looks quite a bit different than the website. Is it that new or is it modified?

    Wow! Just saw a 2016 SR5 FXP...

And by my estimation way too much. They charge 17k for a supercharger install. So except for the supercharger, everything else can be bolted on in the garage with a couple beers. So can the charger but I wouldn't trust myself to that.
