I've got the LFD bars with an older Yakama rocket box. Works great except the rear hatch hits the box when the hatch is opened. Only need to be able to slide the box forward an inch or two more, but I'm at the box and bar limits.
Not sure if newer boxes will adjust the clamps further back to...
What's the strength difference between the aluminum and steel full racks?
Guessing both are much stronger than the weight limits of the roof. Sometimes I carry a canoe which isn't that heavy by itself, but the length and curvature of the gunnels will focus most of the stress on the front wind...
Full front bumper?
Any plans to make a full front bumper? Like the clean look of the low profile bumpers, but would like to have more protection on the corners.
