    2005 SR5 - Door Locks stopped working

I haven't had a chance to deal with the issue yet. Just too busy with work, life, etc.... Hah. It's an annoyance, but I can get by manually locking the doors. I'm starting to think it's power related because at random times the locks do work properly. I assume if the actuator was bad the locks...

    2005 SR5 - Door Locks stopped working

Any idea on how difficult a task it would be to replace them? Or how expensive it would be?

    2005 SR5 - Door Locks stopped working

Yah... they went one by one. But, at random times they do all work. I just didn't know if it was some known issue with the 4Runner. There are several other threads of people complaining of a similar behavior. I was hoping for a simple solution, like a fuse or battery... but it may just be the...

    2005 SR5 - Door Locks stopped working

Ok... so I searched the forum, and I've found a lot of unanswered threads about a similar problem I'm experiencing with my '05 SR5 4Runner: It's seemed, one by one, the locks in my 4Runner stopped autolocking. It started with the driver, then the driver rear, and the passenger rear. So far the...

    Shift lock trim cover

I'm trying to find the little plastic trim piece that covers the shift lock on my 2005 4Runner. A while ago, my Garmin GPS fell off the window mount and landed directly on it, popping it off. It was never quite the same after that. And today, after having my interior cleaned at a local car...

    Kenwood DDX7017 vs. Pioneer AVIC-D1

I would go with what Solice said... the Pioneer one is certainly the better choice out of the two.

    Kenwood DDX7017 vs. Pioneer AVIC-D1

I'm tempted by the Alpine NVE-N872A. That SHOULD be out soon.

    Pioneer AVIC-D1

The Alpine NVE-N872A looks nice... if it ever officially gets released. It can do the Sirius traffic. (I'd rather Sirius than XM). Anyway, lets see some pics of the install!

Voice Command for 05 OEM Nav.

Ideally I'd like to do a clean setup with the Nav system and Sirius (integrated into the NAV system somehow). And like Koz did, put in the voice command system. Oh.. and that OEMvalue site I can't access. Seems they've exceeded their bandwith usage... Sketchy!

Voice Command for 05 OEM Nav.

Koz- Did you install the 05 OEM Nav system in your 4Runner? I currently have an 05 SR5 with just the stock single cd player. I'm interested to see if it's difficult to switch it out and put in the OEM Nav system.

    October rebates

I doubt there is anything I can do... checking the CT Consumer Protection website: "If you sign a contract at a dealership, it most likely is binding. An automobile is not a returnable or exchangeable commodity. There is no three-day cancellation period for motor vehicle purchases." Heh...

    October rebates

Toyota.com has them up... Seems the 2005 V6's get 2.9% financing now AND up to $1500 cash back. I'm pissed, because I just bought mine on Monday and only got 3.9% financing. I wonder if there is anything I can do?!

    New 05 SR5

Oh I certainly can see that... I should have done a bit more research before I got the car. I ended up with the OEM Dunlop tires that everyone says are awful. I'll see how they hold up this fall and winter... if they are truely that bad... I'll drop the cash on the Revo's people love.

    New 05 SR5

Hey all! Great site! I just became a 4Runner owner on Monday. Picked up a 2005 SR5 V6 in Titanium at a dealership in CT. Some great info on here, and I hope to be part of the discussions. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions being a n00b to the 4Runner. Great vehicle... I'm so excited. I'll...
