Monroe Quick-struts JBA Upper Control Arms Tensioner Idler Pulleys

I saw those after doing some more research yesterday and trying to decide between those and the SPC's from Amazon... The JBA's look great and seem to get good reviews but the SPC's seem more popular :confused:

I started out having the shop install the 285's thinking I could clear them since I was already clearing 265's with no lift..... BIG HUGE NO..... When they backed out of the bay I thought the 285's were going to rip my front bumper off lol. They looked awesome but with the 2.5"...

Thanks! Kinda mind blowing that a $120 lift kit turns into a $1,000.00 lift kit since it requires an additional $800 purchase of UCA's to function properly... :redbrick:

Removed running boards, got the windows tinted (5% all around including brow, 25% on driver and passenger), USA decal on back window, t4r.org decal, blacked out all the chrome minus door handles, front badge gray plastidip. Ordered new socks and shoes (285/70/17 Falken wildpeak w/ HELO he878...

I've read where that seems to be a common source of the noise so I will definitely check it out. I snuck out to the car to make the video but back in the office now so I'll check that out this evening and keep ya posted if that's the fix.. Hopefully it's that simple!

Hey fellas, I'm new to the 4runner world so still learning all the quirks and common issues with these trucks. I'm limited in mechanical knowledge but do know most of the basics. I bought a 2006 2WD 4.0 V6 SR5 from a guy 3.5 weeks ago and when I test drove it, there were no abnormal noises...

I was afraid of that.. But I'll just keep my eye out and see what I can come across! I appreciate it, this will be the first build I've ever done so looking forward to it! It really is a world of it's own, pretty cool community around these trucks.
