The manual calls for it being changed every 10k miles. That’s what I’ve done for 40k miles and all if well. Some people on here like to go overboard and think they need to change it constantly, but it’s not 1995 and I think the engineers know what they’re talking about.

You could buy a loaded ORP and get a vey high end custom paint job or wrap for much less than they upsell the pro (which is an ORP with different shocks). You got played if you did it for the color.

Sounds normal to me. I average 16-17 around town, and around 21 if I’m going 55-60. At actual highway speeds I’ll average ~17. That’s how it’s been since the day I drove it off the lot with 1 mile. I’ve never seen 23-24 in normal driving.

I’ve used a touch car wash on my lifted 4Runner with a Gobi rack for over a year with no issues. People are pretty dramatic about this stuff. It’s a 4runner, not a Rolls Royce.

I have an ORP with 2.5” of lift and the gobi roof rack. It’s never had an issue in my garage or any parking garage, but luckily I don’t live in the terribleness that is Southern California so we have plenty of parking lots. I’d remove that ridiculous, ugly pro rack.
