SUCCESS!!!! Read online a bit and a couple web pages talked about a pin hole in the front of the CD loading door that could be used to access the interior of the CD player a bit. Futzed around with it a bit with a straightened paper clip and the touch screen eject icons then.. one CD came out...

Ok, so... figured it out I think. My problem was trying to use key FOB remote programing with a key transponder! DoooH! :doh: I was thinking the "hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously" was referring to the 4Runner door LOCK and UNLOCK buttons, not the key FOB remote's. ...Oh well.. Found...

This is way late in the game, but I just bought a used 2006 with the NAV / E7008 4 CD and 1 DVD (NAV) head unit and I'm having the same stuck CD problem. :mmph: If you ever figured out how the technician got the CDs out so quickly I'd love to know.

JetBoy1975, I'm not sure how to "hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously" in step 8. Nothing seems to happen after that step and step 9. I get the confirmation "System should now lock and unlock vehicle.." after step 7, but nothing past that. :confused: Also working with new transponder key...
