Mine does this as well. Maddening. If I toggle to my wife's phone or BT on or off it will solve it, but wuite an annoyance EVERY time I get in.

New Hitchgate Solo High Clearance. Under $600. Raises the horizontal support arm approx 4" higher than standard Solo which sits at hitch height.

Here's what it looks like on a 4Runner.

Generally speaking, if your rear hatch is 53" or wider, you just have the offset. But as has been mentioned, the larger your tires, the closer they'll be to the brake light when you open it. Offset is almost always a safer idea and why we sell about 80% offset to center.

Hey guys, So we had a custom order come in for an opposite side swing Hitchgate. The customer backed out after we completed the project. It took us 12 weeks instead of 6 weeks to finish due to production glitches on other customers stuff. Anyway here's the deal. These are OPPOSITE SWING...

2nd mod accomplished this AM in 10 minutes: Running Board Delete! I imagine that is a 5hp gain.:wave:

I didn't either. Nav isn't/wasn't a priority for me. My only demands were: 4x4 NO sunroof (I'm super tall) white, gray, or silver beyond that I didn't really care.

I guess in hindsight, I realized it had Nav on the test drive...but I was already so stoked on the deal with 4x4 and back up etc..that the nav was just a bonus. :eyebrows:

I knew it had 4x4...and I got a few grand off sticker due to having a good set up w fleet manager. But, no, didn't know about the Nav. :wave:
