The neutral safety switch?

Yeah, the CV grease doesn't usually come out unless the boot is torn. There isn't that much grease in the ball joint. I would at least peel the boot back and take a look. The only other thing I can even think of is the wheel hub, but it sure looks like a typical CV boot failure.

+1 I use a Motive Power Bleeder too. I also use some one man bleeder bottles from Harbor Freight to catch the fluid.
