Makes sense but a majority of places in the US are at a lower elevation were 87 is the lowest option so it makes sense that all the manuals and responses say to use 87 because most everyone should. Colorado at the much higher elevation should have a different response.
Does anyone run 85 octane in Colorado? I have read that it is basically like running 87 at lower elevations. I asked the service department at Toyota and they said it is totally ok to run 85 octane in Colorado. Just curious about all of your thoughts??
