Oh?
See, that wouldn't even cross my mind because i wasn't having any shift issues.. but at this point I'll try anything.
I will give it a try later on today and report back.
So I took it to a toyota repair shop... looked at it for 30 mins and said there's nothing we can do. Our scanner doesn't communicate with your suv, come pick it up :( im aoo bummed...
I guess dealership is next best bet
No i didn't, I wanted to dig around in techstream and try to figure out which sensor it was. they all look fine physically and the wires aren't damaged :S I'll have to go in with a multi meter or something and test them all out I think.
so i thought... oh. probably a ABS Wheel sensor.... she drove fine home... went inside got my TechStream laptop and plugged her in... spend the next 5+ hours trying to get them to talk but no bueno.... while idling trying to get TechStream to work... the car starts freaking out... every light on...
Keep us posted man... my 14 just started doing this today suprise suprise, after a car wash :(
going to check my firewall harness for water in the AM...
Got my bumper installed! :D came out perfect!
It's a Fab Fours built bumper... seems to be slept on honestly.... couldn't find any info on it besides their site
Dropped my runner off at 9:30 am, got a call at 4 pm to come get it... no loaner but they shuttled me home and back (I'm In Canada tho and live about 18 miles from dealership)
God i hope that someone isn't me
My runner goes in next friday... They've asked to to empty out my back seats....
It's gonna suck for them tho because I have an amp underneath my back seat driver side lol
i DO NOT like these style of jack stands :S . I don't know why I just never felt comfortable using them
I much perfer the pin through design...
although I try my best to keep the jack in it's place too for added safety... also throw your wheel underneath the car too :)
I've done about 5 oil changes now on my runner... i HATED it the first couple times... but you get used to it and learn all the tips and tricks from experience. It's no big deal now. I don't mind it.
I think I'm the only person that was kinda happy my 2014 is getting this recall LOL... with 105k miles on the clock and it being 6 years old, probably due for a new fuel pump anyway haha
