    Timing belt failure <2 Years after replacement

    This was my experience. Since one of the tensioner bolts was such a pain to get at, I didn't get the one bolts tight enough. The new belt lasted about a year before it snapped. The tensioner was wobbling. Lesson learned.

    Driveable w/out power steering belt?

    I've done this on a 3/4 ton truck pulling a 30' camper up an 8% grade with lots of S curves. The bearing went out on the P/S belt tensioner and burned the belt off. I now carry a can of spinach with me when I go places. :D It is doable, but...........
