    highest mileage???

368,000 on my '97. Original engine and drive train and still going strong. Just replaced the hood, right front fender and core support after a woman pulled out in front of me. I'm shooting for 500K!

For those who find this post, the 12 ton worked just fine for one side, but I ended up taking the knuckle to a machine shop for the other side. I just couldn’t get the hub to break loose. The shop had a 20 ton press and made short work of getting the hub loose for me. I brought the parts home...

Thanks for the reply Bad Luck. I like the smaller size of the 12 ton over the 20 for my work area. I may give it a try.

Cleaning the IAC was the answer! Cleaned the throttle body and the MAF sensor while I was in cleaning mode. Don't try to reuse that rubber gasket in the IAC at the bottom of the throttle body. Ask me how I know!

The 3rd Gen All Questions Allowed Thread

Post count too low to start a new thread. Not sure this will be seen here but here goes. I installed an afe stage 2 cold air intake because the factory box was crushed in a recent wreck. Since the install, the truck idles at 1500 rpm in park which it never did with the factory air box. I know...
